A National Tourism Award has helped kick-off 20th Year Anniversary celebrations for the multi-award winning North Star Cruises Australia.
The national tourism awards were announced in Sydney on Friday night and for the second consecutive year, Australia’s bench-mark adventure-cruise operator won the coveted award for Adventure-Tourism.
The award comes as North Star prepares to celebrate 20 years as the market leader.
With a panache for superlative service, North Star has now won no less than 3 national awards for excellence in tourism and, a ‘swag of’ state tourism awards.
The companies much lauded ship, the True North, will depart Fremantle on March 1 for the annual West Coast Explorer Cruise from Fremantle.
Thereafter, the True North will spend 8 months cruising the spectacular Kimberley coast followed by cruises to the Rowley Shoals, the Great Barrier Reef, Papua New Guinea and Sydney.
Despite the ships immense popularity – berths can still be secured on several departures.
