Welcome Aboard
Start your adventure by joining our coach transfer in Broome, before arriving on board the magnificent True North to enjoy the luxuries of our renowned galley. Then, a relaxing overnight journey to the spectacular Buccaneer Archipelago.
Buccaneer Archipelago
Today, we will explore the breathtaking archipelago of over 800 islands, known for its rich biodiversity, lush mangroves, and pristine white sandy beaches - home to a diverse array of wildlife. Experience stunning scenic flights over the region, including an exhilarating flyover of the iconic Horizontal Falls. Our journey also includes fishing and sightseeing tours led by the ship’s knowledgeable naturalists.
The Prince Regent River
Here you’ll be able to indulge in not-to-be-missed fishing spots at the majestic Prince Regent River along with an unforgettable experience at King Cascade as we manoeuvre the True North right under the falls. Then, you can either tender and hike to another picture-perfect billabong for an afternoon swim, or venture further upriver to visit the spectacular Amphitheatre Waterfall.
Picnic Time
Wake up with the sunrise and spend the morning fishing with our experienced guides, or discover ancient rock art with our naturalist. Then, take a helicopter flight to an unforgettable picnic for a mouthwatering lunch beside a crystal-clear billabong in one of the most remote places on earth.
The Hunter River
Wake up in the magnificent Hunter River for fishing, mud-crabbing, bird-watching, and exploring. Next, embark on an exhilarating hike to the hidden Jackson Falls, or see more breathtaking views from the helicopter. In the afternoon, we’ll sail into Prince Frederick Harbour and enjoy sunset drinks on the picturesque Crystal Beach.
Montgomery Reef
Today, you’ll have the chance to rise at dawn and catch barramundi at “Three Ways,” followed by a bush walk to Ruby Falls, where you can swim in its refreshing natural rock pool. Then, embark on a Heli Fishing adventure to a secret, remote location. Lunch will be served as we weigh anchor and cruise to another Kimberley icon – Montgomery Reef. Here, you’ll witness a spectacular 140 square miles of coral reef rising right out of the ocean, home to turtles, dugongs, crocodiles, and a whole world of remarkable sea creatures.
Talbot Bay
Start the day by exploring the spectacular Yampi Sound, where you’ll have the opportunity to sight-cast for ravenous barramundi. Jacks, fingermark, and threadfin will also be on the list of fish to target. Later, return to the True North for our overnight cruise to the magnificent Rowley Shoals.
Clerke Reef
Today the sun rises over the glorious Clerke Reef with its vast lagoon and extensive outer reef. Guided by our expert crew, snorkellers and divers will have the chance to explore the crystal-clear waters, teeming with vibrant fish and corals. Beachcombers can explore Bedwell Island, while anyone keen on fishing can catch and release in the lagoon using eco-friendly tackle. The action-packed day concludes with delights from the galley and your first spectacular Rowley Shoals sunset.
Nature's Aquarium
Start today with a visit to the spectacular Aquarium, a destination that rivals the Great Barrier Reef. The water is only waist-deep, but the experience is truly once-in-a-lifetime. Discover vibrant corals, giant clams and over 600 of the world’s most beautiful fish species that call this place home. After lunch, we’ll shift gears for a thrilling drift-snorkel through the outer reef, guided by our expert crew. Finally, we’ll return to the serene, swimming pool-like waters of Clerke Lagoon.
Close Encounters
Wake up to another day in paradise and experience the thrill of snorkelling on the outer reef. With its breathtaking sheer coral walls, this vibrant ecosystem is home to humpback whales, manta rays, and sailfish. End the day with sunset drinks on the beach, followed by one of our famous Island Parties. We’ll then return to the True North in Clerke Lagoon, where you can gaze at the 360-degree canopy of stars reflected in the glassy ocean.
Transfer to Broome
Arrive in Broome for an early morning coach transfer to your accommodation or connecting flights, and know that our crew is already looking forward to the next opportunity to welcome you aboard the True North.
