As freshly refurbished luxury expedition ship TRUE NORTH II readies to embark on her maiden voyage for the 2023 season, Luxury Lodges of Australia has also formally welcomed the 10-cabin adventure yacht to the esteemed collection alongside TRUE NORTH as part of the True North Adventure Cruises membership.
Designed as a more intimate luxury expedition cruise, TRUE NORTH II features capacity for 20 guests and offers five dedicated adventure boats and a ship’s helicopter, as well as unparalleled access to pristine, remote wilderness along the Australian coast, a swag of activities for guests and revered onboard dining.
TRUE NORTH II adds to True North Adventure Cruises’ inventory alongside the 18-cabin TRUE NORTH. Together, TRUE NORTH – which offers capacity for 36 guests – and TRUE NORTH II epitomise high-end expedition cruising around the vast Australian coastline.
Both purpose-built vessels provide unparalleled access to coastal wilderness visiting areas that larger ships cannot access and feature multiple adventure boats and onboard helicopters. The TRUE NORTH offers the ultimate in comfort whilst TRUE NORTH II now provides the more intimate experience.
Exceptional food and wine are also at the heart of the True North experience. Modern Australian cuisine is founded on locally sourced ingredients and complemented by fine Western Australian wines.
Speaking at the TRUE NORTH II launch ceremony earlier this month, True North Adventure Cruises founding director Craig Howson said guests travelling on either luxury expedition boat have access to the same exceptional experiences.
“No expense has been spared in making sure that TRUE NORTH II meets True North’s exacting standards when it comes to onboard facility and comfort,” Mr Howson said.
Luxury Lodges of Australia Executive Chair Penny Rafferty said the addition of TRUE NORTH II to the collection signalled buoyant demand from travellers seeking privileged access to Australia’s most remote and extraordinary destinations.
“We’re delighted to see this extension to capacity and experiences of the Australian coast aboard the TRUE NORTH vessels, which together offer guests a deeper connection with the incredible natural environment, its heritage and culture,” Ms Rafferty said.
