North Star Cruises Enters Western Australia’s Tourism Hall of Fame
Its official – North Star Cruises Australia is headed for the Western Australian tourism Hall of Fame.
The company recently secured its third consecutive win at the 2007 WA Tourism Awards and, entry into the coveted Hall of Fame!
North Star’s general manger, Mr. Peter Trembath, claimed entry into the Hall of Fame as industry recognition of North Star’s sustained performance at the highest level.
“Our guests come aboard with the highest expectations yet they consistently acknowledge that their experience on the True North was the best holiday that they have ever had”!
“Now our peers in the tourism industry have formally acknowledged the same” Mr Trembath said. “A trip on the True North is the best adventure-holiday you can have”!
In accepting the 2007 award, North Star’s managing director, Craig Howson, cautioned that industrialization was threatening the company’s principle area of operation. Mr Howson strongly recommended that more responsible planning was necessary to preserve the Kimberley region’s stunning wilderness qualities.
The company’s much lauded adventure-cruise ship True North, is currently cruising in Papua New Guinea and will visit Sydney over the Christmas/New Year period.
