Broome-based North Star Cruises Australia, which operates the luxury adventure cruise ship, True North, has been inducted into the WA Tourism Awards Hall of Fame.
North Star has secured three consecutive tourism awards in the category of Adventure Tourism, resulting in entry into the coveted Hall of Fame during a gala ceremony in Perth at the weekend.
North Star General Manager Peter Trembath said the accolade recognised sustained performance at the highest level.
“It’s a fantastic honour which demonstrates our commitment to outstanding quality of service and product,” Mr Trembath. “Our guests enjoy an unparalleled experience and consistently rate the True North as the best holiday they’ve ever had.
“It’s fantastic to see that the team’s efforts are rewarded in such a prestigious way.”
Since 2005 North Star has won multiple state and national awards including two Australian Tourism Awards in the category of adventure tourism.
