WA has been named as one of the globe’s outstanding places to visit with our State’s beaches and strong connection to Aboriginal culture putting this part of the world on the map.
The Lonely Planet’s annual Best in Travel list has listed some of WA’s stand-out features including wide-open spaces, a strong connection to Aboriginal culture, city adventures, amazing reeds, beaches, gorges, lakes and monoliths.
The travel bible also named WA as one of the top five global journeys for 2023.
It singled out a seven-day foodie adventure from Perth to the South-West as one of the world’s ultimate journeys which included visiting Fremantle, Rockingham, Pemberton, Manjimup, Busselton, Bunbury, and Margaret River.
