Last week welcomed in the announcement by Premier Barnett of a proposed new coastal Kimberley marine park (and a smaller land-based National Park) surrounding the iconic Horizontal Falls.
This new marine park will also be included as part of the Premier’s promised Great Kimberley Marine Park which will extend from Horizontal Falls all the way up the Kimberley coast to Cape Londonderry, 500km away.
